Rivercatcher Loves Dogs
We’re delighted that you’d like to bring your dog along to Rivercatcher
As dog owners ourselves we understand that your dog is a member of your family and deserves a holiday too. We believe that if you have a well behaved dog and you want them to join you then you are welcome at Rivercatcher. Each cottage has a fenced off garden so that you can relax that your dog will be safe.
There are lots of great dog walks around Rivercatcher and the surrounding area. Some are lead walks but also many off lead walks too. We have details of these walks below and more available to you on arrival.
Booking your dogs to stay
Dogs need to be booked in, just like human guest, and we charge £30 per dog stay with a maximum of 2 dogs per cottage or log cabin. This can be done during the initial booking.
The Doggy Code
We only have a few house-rules for our doggy guests, but they are just what you would expect in a luxury holiday cottage – such as not being allowed upstairs, especially on beds. We also ask you to clear up any dog mess from the garden before you leave. We do provide some doggy bags and a doggy poo bin in the garden of your cottage as well as a dog bowl and we also leave a little treat for your four legged friend. Dog towels and throws can also be provided.
