Santa makes a special visit each Christmas to the Llangollen Railway. Your decorated steam train will transport you in style from Llangollen Station to Carrog (renamed Lapland for Santa’s visit). Santa will give each good boy and girl a special gift on the journey & the adults on board receive a tipple & a tipple from Santa’s Little Helpers.
Trains depart Llangollen Station at 11am, 11:55, 13:35, 14:30 on 22nd, 23rd & 24th December.
Sit back and relax in comfort as you admire the beautiful Dee Valley in our specially decorated carriages while travelling from Llangollen to Carrog. Adults receive a mince pie and a tipple and children can enjoy a treat which will be served to you by our friendly on-board staff.
Trains depart Llangollen Station at 10.40am, 1pm & 3.10pm from 26th December until 1st January.

Inspired by the classic story, this interactive play with storytelling, puzzles and music for children aged 11 and under and their families, explores rooms around Theatre Clwyd to tell this positive Christmas story ending with a skate on the ice!

Take to the ice this December at Theatre Clwyd’s ice skating experience! Snap on your blades, glide across the real ice, warm up with a hot chocolate and cake and maybe even catch one of our amazing theatre shows. Step out on to our 10m x 20m rink with REAL ICE, in our specially constructed Ice Rink next to the theatre. Have fun with family and friends this Christmas. Let’s Skate!
